Casio’s Steampunk Watch

You’ve got your Steampunk shoes, cane, and even the Steampunk gas mask, so why not complete the look by getting yourself a Steampunk watch? Casio’s G-Shock line of timepieces is wildly popular for its funky modern styling, but the new G8100A-5 uses bronze-colored aluminum and rubber to create a blend between high-tech and retro that’s bound to be irresistible to Steampunk fanatics.

Like all G-Shock watches, the G8100A-5 is packed with features. It has a countdown clock, multifunction alarm, worldwide timekeeping, and my favorite G-Shock feature, an automatic backlight that turns on with a flick of the wrist. Casio’s Steampunk watch is on sale at their web site for $99.

Just having brass and brown colors doesn’t make it steampunk. What an ugly watch.

This is not steampunk. Haruo Suekichi is steampunk.
