The iconic holographic image of Princess Leia asking for Obi-Wan to help her is possibly one of the best-known scenes in geek culture. A creative guy named Chris Weisbart has actually managed to recreate the Leia hologram — using regular household items.
The result is a very realistic-looking “vaporgram” created by projecting an image onto a thin, nearly transparent sheet of vapor. The effect is almost exactly like a hologram, when viewed from the right angle.
