Now that I think about it, the iPad and the Etch-A-Sketch really do have similar dimensions. In fact, after further research, the dimensions are damn near identical, give or take an inch or two here or there. So I suppose an Etch-A-Sketch iPad Case really makes sense.
Basically, you’re buying a $500 gadget and a $39 case in order to make your groovy new piece of tech look like a $15 throwback toy. Nothing wrong with that. It’s been done before and it’ll be done again. There will always be a link between our generation and the days before technology was really technology. I mean, man, I remember when wireless telephones were first becoming the fresh, new thing. Quite a way we’ve come.
