Minecraft, where sex lives go to die. Unless your name is Hal Nicholas, also known as halkun, in which case you’ll have trekkies of all shapes, sizes and sexes bowing down at your feet in admiration and perhaps just a hint of unadulterated monkey lust. Halkun has done the impossible. He has created the framework for what will eventually be a full-scale model of the Starship Enterprise, using nothing but the construction materials used in the sandbox, building game Minecraft.
The video above features Nicholas describing the process of recreating the massive Enterprise on the small screen. His knowledge of the Enterprise’s design and construction is worth the watch alone, not too mention a first look at the work in progress and a classically-trained nerd voice.
