DRM Chair Works 8 Times and Then Self-Destructs

A lot of what you purchase online is highly limited. And I use the word “purchase” very lightly, because not much you buy in Computer Land anymore is really yours. You can use only certain software with certain devices, certain downloadable songs with specific software, but only if you’re signed-in. It gets exhausting.

Can you imagine if the physical world was, too, made up of obnoxious DRM laws? The DRM Chair is designed to be used exactly eight times before the Arduino sensor monitoring the number of sittings tells the legs of the chair to ceremoniously fall apart.
