Calculating Doom

Doom. It shaped my childhood (you can tell). I remember playing this on my Uncle’s PC when I was but a wee lad, and when Final Doom came out on PlayStation, I must have spent a good 100+ hours of my summer vacation mowing down the demons of hell in increasingly brutal fashion.

At the time, Doom was something of a technical marvel. To put into perspective what difference 18 years makes, Doom is now running on calculators!

Suddenly I feel very, very old.
