According to news from TechCrunch, Instagram has recently acquired Luma.io in an attempt to add a little something to its video service.
Luma brings a host of video centric features to the table including brightness and saturation adjustment as well as image stabilization. Luma will also bring features such as their ‘Infinite Filters’ selection which allows users to both add and remove filters. The Luma website plans to end their current service on December 31, 2013 and makes note that their current consumers should ensure that they have all of their content backed up at that time.
Instagram is hopeful that the new addition will help them to kick their service up a notch.
