Ever seen a $1.8 million camera? Well now you have. This Leica camera designed by Jony Ive recently sold for a whopping $1.8 at Sotheby’s RED charity auction.
This close to $2 million camera is a one of a kind Leica M camera designed by Apple design pope Jony Ive and Marc Newson and fetched a tidy sum of $1,805,000 at the Sotheby’s RED charity auction. It wasn’t expected to bring in quite that much with estimates of around $750,000 but when it came time for business the bids came rolling in! The auction had plenty of one of a kind items to offer but the best part of it all is that all proceeds from the auction went towards funding AIDS research!
