The second coolest thing than being an awesome guitarist, is being an awesome Guitar Hero player. This Guitar Hero Cabinet resembles a real guitar rig set-up, though with a added in display for the play of the popular video game. Only a matter of time before Guitar Hero 3 is being played on the Arcade Cab.

Is the track list on the new Guitar Hero going to keep the rocking trend strong? Even with the upcoming release, the cab fits well. Marshall gear is pretty immortal. Oh, also don’t miss the cool Zakk Wylde and Eddie Van Halen replica controllers leaning on the wall. — Andrew Dobrow

New Line has announced it has won the feature film rights to the game Gears Of War. Although Epic Games, owners of the “Gears of War” brand, are yet to announce an official announcement of the sequel to the popular video game, we can see the release of the game and the movie happening around the same time. Epic has created an extensive backstory for the game in hopes that a movie production company would pick it up, and may eventually even lead to novels.

Screenwriter for the Gears of War movie is supposedly Stuart Beattie, who also wrote “Collateral”. Gears lead designer Cliff Bleszinski will be producing the film and keeping an eye on the production for Epic. New Line is hoping to release a Gears of War movie by the summer of 2009.

Microsoft can’t cut themselves a break these last few days. They haven’t really been doing a good job of helping that fact either. In this preview screenshot from the recently announced UEFA Xbox 360 game, an add for the Playstation 3 can be plainly seen in the background.

Microsoft probably should of scoped out the UEFA’s sponsers before signing on for a video game deal, which include both Sony and the Playstation brand. Sony is getting a pretty nice deal with this game. Though I’m sure they would rather have people buy their games then to have their name seen in a Microsoft game. — Andrew Dobrow
