Delivery simulator: Good for new doctors and other various sinister acts

delivery-simulator.jpg

Wide open legs might bring a few images into your head, very few of which are probably child birth related, but luckily, having kids might be even more safe thanks to this delivery simulator. Made by the good people at Harvard University Center for Medical Simulation, this simulator, named “Noelle” will help train doctors the art of clitoris stimulation child birth.

The “Noelle” mannequin costs a grand total of $35,000. About 1,000 times what we pay for vagina downtown. That sure is some high quality child bearing. Noelle can also simulate complications so doctors have more of a understanding of what to expect at crunch time. — Andrew Dobrow
