2. Online Games

The Internet is widely as well as easily available to everyone today. People like to play mobile games, such as Call of Duty, PUBG,and Minecraft that require seamless internet connectivity. This technology is already available to gamers but is expected to find stratospheric heights in the year 2020. While virtual reality (VR) possesses limitless potential, VR headsets available today don’t have the graphics capabilities like other screens, such as gaming consoles and PCs offer.

Today, these platforms are way ahead of the VR devices in terms of graphics quality, but VR is expected to catch up by2020, owing to its capabilities to give gamers a truly immersive experience.

4. Augmented Reality

If we had realized anything considering a huge wave of Pokémon Go, then it was gamers screaming out loud for an immersive mobile gaming experience. Mobile gaming is continuing to drive AR forward,Pokémon Go was just a tiny bit of what is yet to come.

With the graphics of AR improving continuously, more and more mobile games are expected to be released in the coming years. Many of these mobile apps will appeal to different niche markets and not just games that appeal to everyone.

5. Not Just Big Studios

Many of us keep our eyes glued to big gaming studios, waiting for their releases. However, plenty of independent developers also release their mobile games almost every week. These games might not be as spectacular as what studios like Ubisoft and Rockstar Games offer, but many of their releases are very creative.
