White Playing Cards Makes It Harder To Cheat the Blind

white-playing-cards

Have you ever played poker against a blind guy? And not a poker blind, I’m talking a dude that literally can’t see. It’s super effective. All you have to do is peer over his shoulder to scope out his hand. You’ll know just when to fold ‘em and when to hold ‘em. Luckily for me I feel no guilt. In fact, I feel no emotion… ever. Well, anger sometimes. But let’s not talk about that. You wouldn’t like me when I’m angry.

These White Playing Cards would be a smart choice for the blind player. The card color is so close to the background color that you have to take a pretty close look just to see what cards you have. Peering over the shoulder probably won’t work with this deck.

Super Mario Bros. Characters Made Using Poker Chips

super-mario-poker-chips

There’s not much you can do after you’ve lost all your money playing Texas Hold ‘Em. Can’t go out. Can’t order food in. You’re broke and left with a set of (I swear the damned things are cursed) poker chips. What’s a geek to do? Eureka! *light bulb switches on* An idea arises!

You might be broke, you might be shamed and you might be homeless after betting away your home, but nothing can separate you and your geeky creativity. This broke bastard took time out of his totally open schedule to create characters from Super Mario Bros. entirely with poker chips. Sort of bit-tastic if you ask me.

Batman Arkham Asylum Poker Set

The Arkham Asylum Batman video game is on its way to the market, but isn’t here quite yet. If the anticipation is too much to bare, and your Batman Robe just isn’t cutting it, here is a way to at least have some sort of contact with the game before its official release.

The Batman Arkham Asylum Poker Set, much like the Joker Poker Set was for The Dark Knight, is an awesome piece of advertising merch that is actually completely usable by the buyer. Complete with its own own metal carrying case, the set features two different decks of cards as well as Arkham-themed chips. The poker set will set you back around $200.

iPhone Playing Cards

At first glance, you might think that this is some sort of new twisted iPhone application, designed to make you purchase 52 iPhones for a complete deck (and no doubt some schmuck would do it). But nope, nothing devious going on here.

This is an actual deck of playing cards designed to look like the iPhone. This $25 deck features awesome iPhone design aesthetics, including a curved back illusion and the iconic home button. Seems like a sweet way to kick up the Texas Hold ‘Em a notch.

Why So Serious With That Poker Face?

If you’ve been living under a rock for the past week then you probably missed out on the news about The Dark Knight being an amazing film and achieving the critical success that was expected of it. So, of course they’re going to release every known merchandise that exists into a Dark Knight theme. Like poker? So does the Joker. No, not the dead one, the timeless comic book variety.

The Dark Knight Joker Poker set is limited edition and ships in August and costs $85. Included is a deck of Joker gimmick cards as well as another four suit deck and poker chips defaced by the Joker, himself (not the dead one). Have a lousy poker face that isn’t fooling anyone? Simple solution: the Joker solution. Cut a smile into your cheeks, no one will no whether or not you’re serious, they’ll just know you’re psychotic.
