We have shortlisted our favorites here. Most of them can be played online for free. If you are interested in more than the ones we are going to be talking about, then there are more battle royale games on Silvergames.com for you to check out.

Let’s get on with our list of the top 5 battle royale games.

1. PUBG

PUBG is one of the most popular and widespread battle royale games. Even if a person is not a player, they are aware of the existence of this game. The simplicity of the storyline and catchy tactics became the success factors of the game.

It was released on PC first and eventually took the world by storm with its mobile version. The story basically revolves around players stranded on an island having to survive with no pieces of equipment except a pickaxe, which is supposed to be used for resource gathering, and they also have a parachute that can be used in hostile territory.

2. Mini Royale 2

Mini Royale 2 is a survival game where you are deployed in a dangerous area that is constantly bombed. It is a first-person multiplayer shooter game where the players have to find weapons.

Like every other survival game, the players also have to look for enemies and kill them, of course, to survive! The cool block graphics make it a rather fun rendition to play. Mini Royale 2 is available online (here) and is free to play.

3. Fortnite Battle Royale

The Battle Royale mode gained over 10-million players within two weeks of its release, which was in September 2017. You can either play as a single person and be a part of a 100 player game or be a part of a four-man squad.

Whatever mode you choose, the goal remains the same: you have to be the last person or the last squad to be standing, and you win!

4. Apex Legends

Apex legends is a great cross between the shooter phenomena of games and the last-man-standing survivor craze. It was one of the instantly popular games to rack up 50 million players in its very first month.

Apparently, over the course of time, the game added several new characters, and the updates also allowed mic-less communication and also respawning of dead teammates. As a result, it became one of the popular battle royales to play.

5. Call of Duty Blackout

Call of Duty is what many of us started with when it comes to gaming. This first-person shooter game came out with a Battle Royale mode. While it isn’t as popular as the veteran game, it still holds a lot of fun value with its great graphics, gunplay being as smooth as the original game, and also the diverse variety of guns and vehicles and more that it has always boasted of.

Final Thoughts

Battle Royale is a sub-genre that dabbles with a lot of feelings of the players and spawns various feelings and reactions from the players. The last-man-standing phenomenon drives epic satisfaction, which, as a result, becomes one of the most rewarding gameplay. These are some of our favorites to try.
