PopSci photographer John Carnett took it upon himself to develop a device that truly benefits mankind — a beer machine that takes the process of making beer all the way from boiling extract to a chilled pint with almost no physical effort. In fact, the machine only requires that the user swap a few CO2 pressurized hoses occasionally to keep the liquid moving along. It can even serve up to four kinds of beer at once while fermenting a fifth.
