Sure, this might be a cheap jab at Microsoft, but I think the sales numbers of these two “competing” media players, if you can actually call it competition, show all you need to know. Hide-a-Pod is really a much more ingenious idea than any other iPod anti-theft unit we’ve ever seen. Well, maybe other than the one where you hide it in a book.
It’s too bad that Hide-a-Pod isn’t a real object. We bet it would sell great. Even if only a gag gift. It would sell even more so now that it is “iPhone-ready”. It might seem authentic, but just try clicking on the order form button. — Andrew Dobrow
