Terrible iPhone Prototype Names That Never Were

Let’s just say we’re all very happy that Apple settled on iPhone. Apple advertising lead Ken Segall, during a talk at the University of Arizona, discussed some of the names Apple pondered before settling on iPhone.

Among them are TelePod, Mobi, MicroMac, Tripod and even iPad. TriPod?! What in the hell were they thinking? But please, take into account that if Steve Jobs could have had his way, the iMac would have been called the MacMan.
