Joy Slippers: More Comfortable Than Wearing Mice On Your Feet

joyslippers.jpg

Slippers. Most commonly worn by hospital patients and sleepy-eyed senior citizens. The Joy Slippers are a substitution for a mouse and joystick, controlled via foot movements. The best thing about the slippers is that you can make them yourself with a step-by-step DIY.

The moderately simple project teaches you how to make a pair of Joy Slippers, connect them to an Arduino physical computing platform and run a processing application that will allow you to draw with your feet. I’ll stick with impressing people with my monkey-like toe gripping skills when I drop crap on the floor. — Andrew Dobrow
