Hands of time

Writing and print, clockwork and choreography, the march of time and the dance of line—evocations of the kinetic art of Willem van Weeghel, whose web site offers an animated version of the sculpture seen in the video above. (For your own digikinetic performance, grab the slider in the Vimeo player and wiggle it around a little to make your own effects.) It’s like a Mondrian come to life, infused with an intelligence that’s anything but artificial.
