BYJU’S FutureSchool launches Gamer Camp

Give a child a choice and would they rather play or take on school? Nine out of ten kids will definitely choose to play. Many traditional educators lean towards applying education in the form of work to get kids used to the work world that will arrive when they become adults. However, it has been proven repeatedly that motivation and play tend to help children learn better. So why not combine gaming with technical learning? That’s the goal of BYJU’S FutureSchool Gamer’s Camp.

Direct and Immediate Benefits

Why does gaming education work so well? First off, students learn coding skills with some of the best programming teachers in the world and play simultaneously. That motivation keeps them going, just like figuring out how to pass level challenges in video games. Second, they learn invaluable skills in designing 3D game-building. Third, students will enjoy a direct connection with repeat gaming entrepreneurs who have produced successful video games for the industry. Finally, students also get to win prizes through surveys and quizzes. However, most importantly, they will learn valuable skills that could carry into a future career.

Teaching Expertise

Deyan Vitanov leads the class at the FutureSchool as the primary teacher and guide for students, applying real-life experience and lessons that students can take advantage of in their training. As a serial entrepreneur, Vitanov has repeatedly designed successful game packages for the market that became well-known titles. Vitanov is also a Stanford MBA alumni and brings applicable business principles to the lessons he teaches.

Game Design Lessons Provided

Students will be fully immersed in building 3D experience platforms used in games and training systems for simulated physical responses, such as those used in the military and law enforcement. Students will get a chance to take their ideas and make them a reality via software and coding building. In addition, they will be able to take a concept into reality within the Roblox environment. This popular 3D game provides a viable training lab for new designers as well.

BYJU’S FutureSchool game design program is yet another of BYJU’S FutureSchool strategy, expanding and making coding education a primary goal and the focus of online learning for the next generation of tomorrow’s leaders.
