I don’t know a single sane human being who doesn’t at least moderately swoon over pictures of adorable puppies. What’s not to love really?
The Rate My Puppy iPhone app celebrates the adorableness of puppies by allowing users to rate the cuteness of each individual pup. Sure, you might not be winning any hot-or-not style competitions yourself, but that doesn’t mean your dog has to suffer.

I’d like to suggest a different way to do this. Because most puppies are cute, you’d expect a very large number of quite high scores and few low ones – which makes it hard to distinguish a ‘winner’.
Instead, I would propose putting 2 puppy pictures (selected at random) on the screen at the same time and ask the viewer to pick the cutest one. Eventually, the puppies could be rated by percentage of ‘battle’ wins – to get a more accurate determination.
