A Desk Hooked To Your Hip

lindo.jpg

Think about this. In 50 years when everyone is working from home and is constantly sitting at a desk, there is going to be some major problems with atrophy of the limbs. The Lindo Hip Desk allows you to have some work space even when you are standing and doing house work.

Two prongs jut out of the device, allowing you to place your laptop, a drawing table, or even a food tray right at belt level. Sure it doesn’t have the bells and whistles of the Hip Disk, but I’ve lost enough muscle mass already by playing video games. I need something to keep my blood flowing free. — Andrew Dobrow

Eclipse Office Partition Keeps You Isolated

Sometimes we wish we had a cubicle at home, just so we could keep ourselves separated from some of the annoyances of everyday life. The Eclipse Office Partition designed by Marcus Curran is a complete desk solution to ignoring daily annoyances. And while it doesn’t have the cool factor of the Battle Rig, it has a few helpful uses of its own.

The anti-social partition comes complete with a desk, task chair, integrated speakers, a wireless recharging mat, and a wireless camera/projector stuffed into the hood for teleconferencing. Even though this system is only a concept so far, we can see products like this becoming available for retail, just because of the mass amounts of people working from home now. — Andrew Dobrow
