“Gateway One” Desktop PC: Sexy In Ways A PC Shouldn’t Be

Gateway is set to launch their most revolutionary product to date. The Gateway One PC mixes in the tower with the monitor in one streamline design, sort of like the iMac. Though unlike the iMac, the Gateway One still keeps the monitor pretty thing, only measuring 3.5 inches at its thickest point.

The monitor itself is a 19-inch widescreen display, still offering plenty of room and a decent aspect ratio with HD resolution to view all of your media. One side of the display features 7 USB ports, while the other side holds the DVD drive. Both the keyboard and mouse are wireless, meaning no tangled cables and probably really simple installation. Gateway, I never thought I would say this, but you might convince me to give PC’s another try. — Andrew Dobrow

This patent design from Nokia gets us all hot and excited. The N99 slider phone, which is now evidently confirmed from this patent, is going to be one pretty looking cell. Along with the gorgeous QWERTY keyboard and widescreen display, the N99 will also house an unruly 8 MP digital camera.

And oh, how we love the tablet style twisty number pad. The pad seems to be able to fold so that it can be used even in QWERTY mode. This thing is looking gorgeous. — Andrew Dobrow

With the official release of Vista for public use looming ahead, so does the release of the HP Pavilion TX1000 notebook. Featuring a touch-sensitive 12.1 inch widescreen display, a built-in webcam (mmm…amateur porn), fingerprint biometric reader, and a removable DVD burner, among other equally gadgety gizmos, the TX1000 is one hot momma of a laptop. We happen to love the tablet swivel design of the monitor despite some critics viewing it as a sign of fragility. Just don’t get it if you plan on punching the display over and over again with a closed fist and you should be fine. — Andrew Dobrow
