Unlock Your T-Mobile G1 With Ease

Here is how I unlocked my G1 Android phone in 10 mins check here how to unlock it. worked fine for me http://www.unlock-tmobileg1.com

The hacker community has a true passion for unlocking cellphones and I whole-heartedly support it. It was only a matter of time before someone figured out how to unlock the G1 and who would have guessed that i’d be the easiest unlock on this side of the Atlantic. A site called Unlock-TmobileG1.com is offering up unlock codes for a mere $22.95. You send them your IMEI number, they email you back with a code and voila, you can unlock your G1.

Be warned, though. Early reports show that none of the Google services such as Gmail work on other networks such as AT&T’s.

Twitter Developer Cries That “Internet Is Broken”

The nerve of some people! Alex Payne, the lead API developer at Twitter, is claiming that the Internet is broken. He is then kind enough to point out its flaws and what he feels will happen because of the so-called “broken Internet.”

I’ve got some words of advice for Alex: Fix your fucking APIs and your fucking service before you start complaining about the one thing that makes your company (Twitter) a reality. If I had a dollar every time Twitter was down, I’d probably buy you out.

This is why I don’t use Twitter. It’s a fad and it’s essentially, a service for losers and nerds who don’t have enough friends in real-life to text message. Seriously. Try texting your friends. Same shit as Twitter. Maybe we’ll see Payne wake up and smell the rotting whale carcass.

X-ray Art: I Can See Your Guts

In this crazy world we live in, anything can be considered art.  Even something as simple as an X-ray photograph has the potential of becoming the next Mona Lisa. Wait, now that I’ve browsed through Nick Veasey’s work, I’ve got to say this is way cooler than the Mona Lisa. I mean c’mon, she’s just an unattractively fat woman with creepy eyes.

I’m not sure how Nick makes these. I’m hoping he’s not actually taking X-rays of everything he sees, otherwise he’d be one irradiated person.  Either way, his work is impressive. I only wish his site were a little more eye-pleasing. Regardless, the link below will lead you to his website where you can check out his portfolio.

8tracks.com Reviewed

As we mentioned yesterday, the online music service Muxtape shut down. While this is yet another lame move by the RIAA, I’ve found I don’t miss Muxtape. It was really just too basic of a service for me to get into it or hyped up about it. Plus, having to upload one track at a time really sucked. So with Muxtape gone, I decided to give 8tracks.com a go.

Sign up is easy. Very straightforward stuff. The interface is much cleaner and reminds me of the old version of Last.fm. Anyways, you login and create a mix. This mix contains 8 tracks, all of which will not be revealed unless a listener listens to your mix all the way through. You can upload all your tracks at once (in a queue) and go make a sandwich while they upload. Once that’s done, just drag your tracks to the mix and figure out an order. Create your mix and you’re good to go!

Muxtape Shut Down By RIAA

The RIAA keeps chugging along and putting people with good intentions out of business. The latest casualty is Muxtape, an online mixtape service that I used and really enjoyed. You uploaded 13 of your favorite tracks and that’d be about it. What do I think will happen now? Nothing. Muxtape is not/does not have the money to license all those tracks at the current royalty rates. It was a nice ride but until the recording industry “gets it,” I’m afraid we’re screwed.
