Jeep unveils new Trailhawk Concept
Let’s get it out there first that a few years back Jeep unveiled a concept called the Hurricane, which allowed all 4 wheels to turn independently, and that never hit production; we’ll se how this one goes. Anyways, Jeep’s new Trailhawk is looking to bridge the gap between their Jeep Wrangler unlimited and their Cherokee. The Trailhawk is meant to be able to transport 4 people (just like the previously mentioned ones) off-road, and the roof has 3 panels of glass, which can be removed, so you can go off-roading with the wind blowing in your hair (sound like a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited?). Besides the obvious designs to make this a Jeep, the Trailhawk is taking a stab at the higher-class of off-roaders, making the Trailhawk a little sleeker appearance. One of these stabs are rear-mounted speakers that can be removed and used as portable media. One final thought before you start praying that Jeep puts this on the market: this is powered with Bluetect diesel, you know, the expensive stuff. More pictures after the jump.
