Growl: If Super Mario Bros. Was Designed By Metal Heads…

If the Castle level of Super Mario Bros. sounded like this I might not mute my TV whenever I reached this point in the game. Something about the original castle theme just irritated the hell out of me. That’s probably why it never reached the same iconic level as the other levels themes.

Props to the band Nylithia for the awesome death metal rendition. We really need a mod for this, so developers, get on it.

French Guy Makes Facebook Business Cards

facebookcard

The very Frenchly-named Jean-Baptiste Gouraud designed these ingenious Freedombook Facebook business cards. The cards encourage the recipient to “Confirm” (or “Confirmer” if you want to sound pretentious) Gouraud as a business connection, or perhaps as a life partner, if that’s how you roll.

The card holds hall of the pertinent information, including phone number and e-mail address. Let’s just hope that your perspective business partners aren’t so enthralled by your business card that they forget to actually use it how it was meant to be used.

Fallout Invades Your Blackberry

pipboything

If you have a Blackberry and fancy yourself a Fallout 3 fan, then you’re in luck. Some modder created a working Pip-Boy theme for the Blackberry that works quite well. It comes in green and blue. It works on the Blackberry Curve so people with other models will have to do a little tweaking or just make their own.

Stow Away Your Booty In A Pirate Themed Home Theater

stars.jpg

I’m going to go ahead and guess that this Pirates Of The Caribbean Home Theater is wooden leg accessible. More inspired from the theme park ride then the actual movie, the wall of the theater displays 7 pieces of art themed after scenes from the Pirates ride.

And much like the ride, the theater contains a lighting scheme that will make you fell like a true sea traveler, poking along the ocean on your ship into the starry night. The rear of the theater (which contains equipment that most of us could only fantasize about) even contains a pirate themed bar, or tavern. So grab a frosty mug of ale and hope that you don’t catch scurvy. If Pirates isn’t up your alley, check out the Star Trek Home Theater or the Titanic Home Theater. — Andrew Dobrow
