Inflatable Turkey Helps Vegetarians Fit In

inflatable-turkey

What’s Thanksgiving without a big, juicy turkey as the center piece? Even if you’re planning on eating turkey-flavored tofu crap instead of the real thing, there’s no reason not to feel like you’re at an actual Thanksgiving celebration. The Inflatable Turkey adds a taste of normalcy into your fucked up existence. And that’s all we want. To feel NORMAL!

It even comes in a can, just how Momma used to make it.

Father And Son Arduino Flashlight Leash

What better way for a father and son to spend the Thanksgiving weekend together than to build a robot out of a tin can and an Arduino. As far as robots go, this little autonomous aluminum can seeks out light and moves in the direction of it. The creator cleverly refers to this as a “flashlight leash.”

With an Arduino, a light sensor and a lower power DC motor, making your own light-seeking robot shouldn’t be too difficult of a task. With your kid helping you, who knows what you could accomplish?

Have A PS3? $30 DualShock 3 Controllers Today Only

If you own a Playstation 3, get your ass on over to Radioshack.com or a retail store. They’re offering $30 DualShock 3 controllers for all your gaming needs and since they normally retail at $55 a pop, you could most definitely buy up a few and sell them later. Either way, it’s a win-win situation for PS3 owners today. Sale ends tomorrow.

Paper Turkey For Vegan’s Giving Thanks

Even if you’re a vegan and you keep clear of any consumables that at one time were living, breathing creatures, that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the great American holiday that is Thanksgiving.

Does the sight of a stuffed and beheaded turkey on your table disturb you? Then decorate your Thanksgiving dinner table with a papercraft turkey. It’s fun because, much like a real turkey, you get to prepare it yourself. What makes it better is you don’t have to deal with pulling out different body parts from the turkey’s rectum. It’s all paper for you vegans. Well, it’s either that or a tofu shaped turkey.

Black Friday Apple Discounts

Black Friday is only two days away and unless you started camping last night, don’t expect to scoop up any of those doorbuster items. Luckily, every hipster’s favorite computer company will be offering rare discounts on hardware and the like. Apple will offer deep discounts ranging from $100 to $250 on Macbooks, Macbook Pros, iMacs and other computers. The more expensive, the better the discount. It looks like our good friends Best Buy will also be offering the discounts, but I wouldn’t go anywhere near a place like that on Black Friday. Best of luck on your deal-hunting.

Happy Thanksgiving! Let’s go slaughter some Indians

geronimo-big.jpg

Today is a day of great importance in American history. Today we celebrate our thanks to the sacrifices laid down by our pilgrim fore fathers. By sacrifices, of course we mean human sacrifices. We celebrate the slaughter of the Indian’s and their laughably primitive ways. Huzzah!

This year I have made a special Geronimo Apple-themed image in honor of the holiday, regardless of both of these subjects being pretty unrelated to Thanksgiving (other than many people giving Thanks to Apple for the iPhone.) Just remember, you can’t make slaughter without laughter. Happy Thanksgiving! — The Gearfuse Staff
