This Chair Keeps Hanging Around

This concept for a chair alleviates the difficulties of storage that you’d normally have with other chairs. Having guests over? Well, you won’t want to have them sitting on one of these while it’s hanging on the wall. Instead, try taking it down and putting it in the circle of other chairs that can’t be stored in your basement cellar. Then you can be on your way, telling all of your guests your idea to invest in chairs that try to be clothes hangers.

NeatSheets Store iPods, KY Jelly

Here’s an idea that seems so elementary, it’s absurd that no one thought of the idea years ago. NeatSheets. It’s a sheet with a pocket on the side. I could add a ton of adjectives and shit about how they’re “extra comfy” and what not, but let’s cut right to the nectar. Sound good? Excellent.

These sheets seem like a decent idea for those who watch a lot of TV in bed or have a lot of sex. Throw the condoms and the lube in there next to the Sony remote and you’re set.

Bluetrek Bizz Brings Bodacious Bluetooth to Babes

bluetrekbizz01

Alliteration aside, the Bluetrek Bizz is looking to blend the world of USB devices and Bluetooth headsets. It’s a Bluetooth headset combined with a USB drive that accepts microSD cards for storage (thus turning it into a microSD card reader as well.)

While it may not be as fashionable as other Bluetooth devices, it gets the job done and the extra functionality it packs makes it worthwhile. Scoop one up for $55 or rob a Best Buy. I wouldn’t recommend the latter.

SIM Card Manager: Dude, Where’s My Translator?

sim_card_manager.jpg

Looking very much like one of those translating/portable dictionary devices from yesteryear, the SIM Card Manager is actually a lot more useful than you’re led to believe from its appearance. Offering the sexiness of a full QWERTY keypad, the device can save 3 different SIM card phone number databases on its on-board storage, providing you with a back-up plan unless one of the cards takes a turn to the grave.

Following in the footsteps of the old-time organizers it seems to be emulating, at least in design, the SIM Card Manager also adds in the always useful features of a calendar, a 12-digit calculator, a memo function with search capabilities and the security of password protecting your data. Grab your own for $40. — Andrew Dobrow

Seitz 160-Megapixel Camera Is An Arm Full

seitz_6×17_3.jpg

Seitz has created a monster. This 160-megapixel 6 x 17 inch camera might be slightly, well who are we kidding, MUCH bigger than your average point and shoot, but at 160 MP, it could create prints the size of Mars. The camera itself looks like it takes an effort to lift. You have to figure it must be pretty heavy.

One full res image taken with this Seitz camera will take up 900 MB of storage! That means that the memory for this camera needs the help of an entire Mac Mini, just to provide some room for the giant size. And even that can hold a pretty limited amount of photos. The high-end model of the Seitz camera costs a whopping $44,414. Be prepared to sell any small countries you own if you want it. — Andrew Dobrow

TwinMOS Mirror-Surfaced Slider USB Drive

twinmos.jpg

Even the best of us have some legendary lapses of memory, including forgetting where we put the cap to our USB flash drive. The TwinMOS Mobile Disk P1 solves this problem by not even including a cap, instead opting for a sliding mechanism.

The device by TwinMOS also has a slick mirrored surface and 6 multicolored LED lights which glow when the device is in use. The device has full cross platform support, so it should work with any OS you’re working with, as long as its using USB 2.0 ports, which by now, you must be. — Andrew Dobrow

Samsung releases single platter 60GB hard drive

mini hard drivePerpendicular magnetic recording has allowed for some major breakthroughs in hard drive capacity as of late. Next in line: Samsung’s SpinPoint N series. What makes it so important is that it is the first single platter 1.8-inch hard drive to reach the 60GB capacity. The SpinPoint N series will have 4 tiers of storage: 20/30/40/60GB. While a single platter 60GB drive will help shrink the size of some portable audio devices, it will also up the ante for high capacity portables. This means that your iPod that you thought was so great at 80GB can now be upped to 120GB (if they are able to make a double platter drive). For your ever growing music collection, we can do nothing but welcome these newer, higher capacity drives! — Nik Gomez

samsung t9 bluetooth mobile

Samsung wants you to have your movie collection wherever you go, and they’re not afraid to say it. The T9 model is a living, breathing, monster of movie storage madness. With a 8GB memory, the T9 can hold up to 16 movies at 500MB each or 2,000 mp3’s. Enough to make those long lonely nights a little less harsh on your fragile and soft geek mind. Movies can be directly downloaded from the Samsung Media Studio, relatively easy access to instant downloads. The impressive battery life allows for 6 hours of movie watching or 30 hours of jamming out to Rush. And you can talk on it too we suppose.
