Stationoli: The all stationary-in-one gadget

Stationary products are generally small and easy to lose. In fact, I have no idea where the hell my staple removers are right now. That’s right. Removers. Plural, bitches. Maybe if we had learned about something like the Stationoli earlier, we wouldn’t be in the pickle we are now, with many staples in need of removing. The Stationoli provides a way to keep all of your stationary together as one unit.

Stationoli includes a stapler, a staple remover, sticky notes, a paper clip holder, a calculator, pencil sharpener, and of course…an alarm clock? Okay, that one doesn’t make to much sense since we’re pretty sure most people don’t sleep with their stationary. Though, Stationoli seems like a cool gizmo to have around. Especially during tax season. Available now for $40. — Andrew Dobrow

Tryane II: The handmade wooden car

The Tryane II is a completely handmade wooden car by creator Friend Wood (real name!), which is said to be built similar to the way boat builders build boats. The wooden car frame was made by laying several dozen strips of mahogany, sealed with epoxy resin, all triple layered over a male mound.

When the car is running, it is said to be able to drive 70 to 90 miles per gallon. A friend of the creator even describes an incident where he was driving in the car with Friend Wood when Wood slid the gear into neutral. What happened amazed him. The car became silent and still maintained a steady speed, which is a result of its aerodynamic design. The car was built in about 600 hours with the aid of 20,000 staples. All the man power turned out to be worth it. — Andrew Dobrow
