The Space Invader Shower Curtain adds a level of geekiness usually unseen in the bathroom, other than that one turd that sort of looked like Iron Man. And, according to Technabob, the only way to grab your hands on a curtain like this is to go through some sort of Mexican drug cartel design firm, which just happens not to have a website. Bummer.

For people who grew up on games like Pac-Man, Asteroids, Donkey Kong, Space Invaders and Super Mario Bros. these Retro Arcade Game Messenger Bags are like a little piece of heaven.

I’m a geek, which means I tote a lot of crap around with me wherever I go. My camera, a book or two, my various electronics, a moleskine, so on and so forth. A bag of some sort is essential for getting through the day. I might just have to fork out some cash for one of those Mario or Space Invader bags. Hell, maybe both.

We’ve already witnessed a few examples of ultra-realistic video game creations, but nothing that mixes the gaming aesthetic with reality quite as well as this Jump ‘n’ Run photography series by Patrick Runte.

The series features classic gaming characters in real-life scenarios, illustrating what exactly the games would look like if they were live-action rather than bit-tastic. Check out a bunch more after the jump.

This guitar strap fills me with geek envy. Renee of The Domestic Scientist made this cross-stitched guitar strap for her husband themed after the Atari classic Space Invaders. She is well versed in the art of geekery and even bakes her own 20 sided die cookies. That’s pretty geeky.

Next, she’ll be modding her husband’s guitar. We’re hoping she sticks to the Space Invaders theme she’s got going on. If not, well, there’s always Asteroids.

An Etsy crafter by the name of HutchMe made these spiffy belt buckles featuring shiny renditions of retro video game icons including Mario, Mrs. Pac Man, Donkey Kong, and one of those Space Invaders aliens. They’re the perfect accessory for Texan oilmen who have a hardcore gaming habit.
