Final Fantasy Tactics Coming to PS3, PSP

fftactics

Call me biased, but my favorite game for the original PlayStation is Final Fantasy Tactics. You can imagine my excitement when I read that the ESRB has rated Tactics for release on PSN. It’ll be available for download for both the PS3 and PSP and I’m guessing it’ll be priced around $9.99. The real question is, will they fix the job point glitch that can be found in the original version?

Final Fantasy XIII Gameplay Hits YouTube

Oh boy. Look what we have here! Some brand spankin’ new Final Fantasy XIII footage has hit the YouTubes and this time around, it’s no pre-rendered bullshit. No, sir. This time, we have some live gameplay that was captured by an adoring fan. After watching the video for about five minutes, I have to officially state that I am excited for this game. The last time I got excited about a Final Fantasy title was with FF10. The graphics, the physics and the particle effects of FF13 are the best I’ve seen in an RPG, let alone Playstation 3 title.

People, get your systems ready. This is going to be epic.

RPG Piggy Bank Wastes Your Time And Your Stomach

Would a piggy bank that can save up to $465.46 dollars encourage you to abandon the console RPG you’re playing in favor of hording your money in this game? Staring at it in astonishment, amazed by the fact that it’s a RPG on a piggy bank. You’ll mindlessly drop coins in it, one at a time, at a slow pace. Before long, you’ll realize that all the gear you bought for your character was for naught; you were playing nothing more than Tamagotchi with a bank account . You’ll want all your money back to go get some White Castle. Then you’ll never touch this machine again.

Magic: The Gathering Coming To A Console Near You

 magic.jpg

Hours and hours of my pre-teen years were spent huddled in circles, dishing on mana cards from my black deck, owning all of those damn counter-spell blue decks people were using for awhile. Gradually, my relationship with Magic: The Gathering grew further and further apart.

Wizards Of The Coast has licensed Magic to be made into a video game for PCs, X-Box Live (both from Stainless Games) and Mac (from Mind Control Software). We’ve played the original Magic card game and the original computer game as well. We can only hope the new game is better than the original. — Andrew Dobrow
