Love On The Rocks (No Ice)

Not everyone cares what their ice cubes look like but for the rest of us, we rely on creativity and nautical disasters to take our drinks up a notch. For the bold and brave, try these drinking rocks that come from Sweden. Known as Nordic Rock, the cube-cut stones are known for their ability to retain the cold. This particular set comes with a nice carrying bag as well, in case you want to whip ‘em out and impress your local barkeep.

At $30, you’d better rock out. Or get your rocks off, honey. Or you can ignore these shit jokes and order a set. The latter seems to be the best route.

Jump Into A Comfy Pile Of Stones

Us hobos nomadic spirits know a little something about the comfort of big ol’ hunks of stone. If I could afford a bed (or a place to live even) I would be a better judge of coziness, I admit. At least these Livingstones being more comfortable than real stones is something most of us can agree on.

The plush Livingstone pillows look like rocks that were picked up from the side of a river and cleaned of their moss. Having, like, 10 of these piled in the corner of your room would make people think you’re strangely in touch with nature. It’s not until you make a swooping dive onto the stones when they will start to fear for their safety.

Guitar Hero 80’s Edition cover art revealed

I must admit, I am not a fan of hair metal in the least, which is why this game doesn’t seem to be doing much for me. For those of you tossing and turning over the upcoming Guitar Hero: Rocks The 80’s, the recently released cover art might stir up some more excitement.

Revealed with the cover art are two possible new characters to choose during game play. And, yeah, they are indeed very 80’s. Big blonde hair, headbands, and all. But don’t let the pastels fool you, 80’s will make a punch with some of the best of 80’s rock and metal. — Andrew Dobrow

Time to stock up on neon clothes and hairspray. Activision has announced plans for the production of a third installment to the popular Guitar Hero series of games with Guitar Hero: Rocks The 80’s. So far the game is only said to be for PS2, but really little is actually known in the first place.i

A few songs have already been announced for the next installment and here’s what is included so far: I Wanna Rock by Twisted Sister, I Ran by Flock of Seagulls (a personal favorite), Round and Round by Ratt, I Want Candy by Bow Wow Wow, Mental Health by Quiet Riot, Holy Diver by Dio (didn’t think they’d leave this out did you?), and Heat Of The Moment by Asia. Much more is sure to be announced in the coming months. No release date has been announced. — Andrew Dobrow
