Old Red Jalopy, also the designer of the Star Wars-themed alternative movie posters, created these awesome promotional boxing/wrestling posters advertising the fictional “Brouha on Mustafar” and the “Hooha on the Death Star.” Link [via]

If you loved the first set of modern movie posters gone retro that we posted a few weeks ago, you’ll love this new set, featuring pretty recent flicks and shows packaged á la retro Atari-style gaming cartridges. This time around we’ve got Lost, The Dark Knight and Wall-E. Three of my personal favorites.

Luke Skywalker is on the hunt for intergalactic freedom. Release from the iron grip of the Dark Side. And if he gets an opportunity to eat a few brains along the way? Well, he might just partake. Who wouldn’t?! Artist Matt Busch created these awesome Zombified Star Wars posters. And I thought nothing could make the Star Wars universe cooler. I should have known.

After only days of spotting ad posters along the streets of New York City, this ad was spotted on the F/X channel on the old boob tube. Although not the most useful of products displayed at CES, the FlexMedia animated signs are pretty cool looking. The name of the product pretty much says it all. They are animated posters that are flexible and thin. Using the superpowers of EL (Electroluminescent), the FlexMedia signs look like they could be a nice replacement to the drab days of non-animated poster ads.
