Weird Videos: Fan Made Zune Advertising Gone Wrong

Zune fans are PHAT. Yes, PHAT - pretty hot and tempting. They also have a vivid imagination when it comes to their own fan-made advertising. We think YouTube user ButternutJelly is a Zune fan, but we’re not so sure.

Clearly drawing inspiration from Tubgirl, he made this short film for Microsoft’s Zune. If it didn’t include a disclaimer, I’d have thought it was from Microsoft’s advertising team. Warning: it’s quite disturbing.

Powder Coating Graphics For Your Bicycle

Using that 1989 GT Mach One with a rusty chain isn’t going to get you any ladies. I think it’s time you upgraded your ride to a simple road bike. It doesn’t matter what it looks like, because once you get one for dirt cheap, you’re going to re-do it at Geekhouse. For a fee, the company will use a new powder coating technique to recreate any design on your bike. Saw a repeating pattern on YTMND that you thought would look cool? Get it slapped on your bike.

The above picture is a recent track bike Geekhouse worked on. An orange base coat was applied along with a beautiful paisley pattern. It even extends from the frame to the rims on the wheels. I wonder if Ryan could get his cock powder-coated with designs of Mickey Mouse…

Colorware At It Again, Modding iPhone 3G

The company that could turn your iPod or laptop any color is back and offering the iPhone 3G in exciting new colors. No longer are you limited to a black or white iPhone 3G purchase. Now you can plunk down $150 extra and get a wacky neon green paint job. It’s similar to T-Mobile’s skinning service except not affordable in the slightest.

You can get combine colors if you want to mix it up and represent your favorite sports team if that tickles your fancy. Unfortunately, the price is just too high for us to recommend it. Each additional option will cost you more and more. You might be better off trying to DIY this one.

You Spilled Paint On Your Laptop Case

Street artist KR, creator of the KRINK line of ink and markers has designed a laptop sleeve for the folks over at Incase. The KRINK sleeve has a dripping paint design surrounding its exterior, so everyone will know what a sloppy mess you are when it comes to painting.  It’s said to be compatible with the MacBook Pro 15-inch, but I’m sure you could shove any other 15-incher or something smaller into it.

At $80, its reasonably priced considering some of the other laptop cases we’ve seen.  A 3mm cushioned interior provides padded protection, but don’t be fooled into thinking your laptop can survive a spill. Remember, gravity always wins over technology.

Windows-powered ATM just got served!

bm_image_788194_1.jpg

Why would an ATM be running Windows? Who knows! Using a cheap ATM at a movie cinema, Blogger Melissa from Melissatogo, totally pwns and serves this Windows powered device. Oh, Snap! Ok, enough with the out of fashion teenage colloquialisms. This makes us extremely insecure about using ATM’s now. Or at least any ATM’s located anywhere other than a bank. She explains that the screen was blank except for the windows task bar on the bottem. After carefully examining the situation, which must have taken a good 3 seconds, she proceeded to photograph the pwnage. Poor Microsoft. :-( (more…)
