I’ve always loved designs with more than one use. Any more than three uses is pushing it. Then you are moving into kitsch territory. Philly’s Mural Arts Program partnered up with The Design Center of Philadelphia University to transform 10 city garbage trucks into pieces of movable art. Sadly, the murals do nothing to disguise the trucks awful fucking smell.
Just think about this… millions of week old cheese steaks rotting in the sun. But hey, it’s something pretty to look at as you vomit into the gutter. Hit the jump for ghetto children proclaiming their love for all things flowery and purple.
Okay, so it’s not perfect. In fact, Mario looks rather sick to his stomach. But this Mario mural made from old floppy discs is really a great effort. You have to at least give them that. Pretty impressive (and we’ve seen some cool Mario mods in our day).
