Sony has launched their beta of the social virtual world, PS3 Home. Home seems to be a lot more serious and developed then I ever thought it would be. Some things you can do while cruising around home is interact with your PSP, play mini-games, interact with other gamers, and of course, check out the view of a whole new world.

Is this an attempt by Sony to beat Nintendo at their own Mii game? You bet it is. The leaked screenshots from the Home beta are looking really good. Nintendo, we love you, but Sony may have you beat with this one. (more…)

Humor degrading any certain sect of culture is just the best. You can’t help but laugh at something like this nerdy tee with the words “Mii love you long time” emblazoned on them. Not only does this rip on woman, but totally destroys the Asian take on English. Or as you might call it, Engrish.

We hate to laugh at something like this, but we will anyway. Pure genius. Would you rock this shit? — Andrew Dobrow

Gamer geeks have got to stick together. Sometimes, this even means getting married. And what would be a gamer wedding without gamer props? A couple getting married commissioned a pair of Mii figurines which will replace the typical bride and groom figures placed on top of the wedding cake.

These Mii figurines are a product of MiiSculpture, a company which will custom make a likeness of your Mii character, immortalizing your legendary gaming years. These figurines typically take around 3-4 weeks to ship because of their handmade craftsmanship. They also have a impressive selection of celebrity Mii figurines pictured on their site, including Bill Gates and Chuck Norris. — Andrew Dobrow

Elder gamer website IStillPlayGames.com has a cool gallery of photos of people standing next to their Wii Mii characters. There’s also a few children thrown in as well. Byproducts of the elder gamers, we guess. — Andrew Dobrow
