LG working on a speedy next-gen Prada phone

lgks20ml6.jpg

Pictured above is said to be the LG KS20 Smartphone, the follow-up to the LG made Prada phone. The Prada phone was originally designed to take on the iPhone, and besides being a designer phone, lacked the features to do so. The LG KS20, while not sporting the Prada brand name, is a sure fire clone of the Prada model, but with pumped up features.

The KS20 is rumored to run off of Windows Mobile 6.0 Pro, along with steroid induced specs compared to the Prada. Packing in 128MB of memory, a 2.8″, 240×320 pixel, 18-bit (262.144) color touchscreen, GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA capabilities, a 2.0 megapixel camera with auto-focus and flash, Bluetooth, WiFi, TV-out, FM radio, and micro SD support, the KS20 might be the iPhone killer that the Prada phone features couldn’t live up too. The rumored features of the LG KS10 already have some extra ground gained on the iPhone with the addition of WiFi and HSPDA features which enable it to act as a smartphone. — Andrew Dobrow

Samsung SCH-B680 springs to Korea in Spring

samsung

Samsung’s announcement for this new addition to the Korean market in the Spring, the SCH-B680, looks pretty slick. It’s available in both black and white and has a checkered style number pad which is a pretty nice looking design feature.

The SCH-B680 comes with DMB, an integrated MP3 player, a 1.3 megapixel camera, and M-Bank. M-bank is some sort of Korean money transfer thing or something.

The pretty design looks pointed towards woman, with it’s elegant vine-like etching on front. Though we are sure there are certain men who would dig this type of thing. Being that manliest men on the planet, we have no attraction to this phone. Absolutely, ahem, none. (more…)

izenMobile KSMT and KRMA simplifies digital life

izenmobile ksmt

You might of already of heard about this phone, but known under a different name, the Glofiish M700. CoolSmartPhone is reporting that this might be the very first authentic picture of the KSMT to be seen on the internet. izenMobile says that the KSMT and KRMA are made to serve the small and medium businessman and woman to “make digital life easier”. We hate to break it to them, but he digital life HAS been a relatively easy place for years. Being productive and ambitious is one thing. Spewing inaccurate facts to plug your product is an entirely other story. But hey, if izenMobile has found a way to make it even easier, we’d love to see it. Features include a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and both devices include a Samsung 400MHz CPU, 128 MB Flash ROM, 64 MB SDRAM, and GPS. Including bluetooth and a 2 megapixel camera is just a perk we suppose.

One feature that is pretty cool, despite our skepticism of an easier digital life, is that izenMobile offers 25 GB of free online storage for pretty much and type of file or media you want, plus the addition of the Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 software for free. The added freebies are definitely an incentive. Come on, baby, make my digital life a breeze.

lg env vx9900

The newest generation of Verizon’s answer to the Sidekick looks like an absolute joy to work with. The LG line of micro SD phones has had their problems in the past, but the VX9900 is looking great compared to the original release of the LG “The V”. The VX9900 now comes with a 2 megapixel camera and additional productivity tools and hardware upgrades since the previous editions. To wet our palettes a little more, Verizon has released two VX9900 commercials. It’s lookin’ slick, LG. Very slick. Jump for the commercial vids.
