Speedy Micromouse Bot Solves Maze in Less Than 5 Seconds
Micromouse competitions are an attribute to the growing popularity of robotic entertainment. This particular competition in Chubu, Japan appears to be going normally until you hit the 4:30 mark, at which point the EggTorte bot solves the maze in less than five seconds. Its owner probably threatened it with a robotic mousetrap. According to Wikipedia, the world-record for solving a 16×16 maze is around 6 or 7 seconds. If this counts, EggTorte might have a record on its hands. Though... Continue reading
M&M Dispenser Maze Adds an Obstacle for Dieters
I know it must be hard living without your daily sugar fix when you’ve become accustomed to munching on sweets whenever you want. Just because you’re dieting doesn’t mean you have to cut out the candy completely. Just make it a little harder to access. Deter yourself from overeating by adding a little challenge into the mix. The M&M Dispenser Maze makes the dieter solve a Labyrinth-style ball maze, with the classic metal ball replaced with a delicious M&M. The... Continue reading
Wolfenflickr 3-D Combines The Best Of Both Worlds

That’s actually kind of creepy, now that I think... Continue reading
Defendius Maze Lock: Nobody Ever Goes In, Nobody Ever Comes Out
Mr. Willy Wonka was the king of being secretive. For years, no one went into his factory and no one came out. The Wonka factory was the proverbial elephant in the room. Although his factory was gated off by iron bound bars, it couldn’t hurt to have a little extra security. The 100% titanium alloy Defendius from the Art Lebedev Studio assures that nobody gets in, and probably never gets out, thanks to the maze you need to solve just... Continue reading
