Vintage Apple Logo Trucker Hat

apple-cap

Have you been down with Apple since they were one with the rainbow?

Pure sex. Sadly sold out for now. Let’s hope for a triumphant return. I will own one.

LED Apple Shirt

mac-shirt

For some totally absurd reason, this shirt cost about $1,300, for real. What could possibly make a shirt cost that much? Well, the shirt is actually a Philips Lumalive shirt, so you can stream a variety of images, pretty much anything you set your mind to as long as you feel like inputting and arranging the data. But the Apple logo gives it that “gotta have it now” vibe.

I don’t care what the shirt is or what it’s made out of, for that amount of cash you can buy a whole refurbished Macbook. I’ll sacrifice tech for style any day.

Brand Keyboard Types Your Way to Capitalism

brand-keyboard1

The brands and logos of the major corporations have become just as recognizable to us as our own alphabet, thanks to modern commercial advertising. Each letter has its own major brand and corresponding logo.

The Brand Keyboard by Ignacio Pilotto replaces the QWERTY keys with company logos, the company names beginning with the same letter as the intended key. Something tells me some kids these days might learn to type better if their keyboards looked something like this. And yes, that’s both a Microsoft and an Apple key.

RSS Icon Pillow: Read Feeds In Your Dreams

rss-icon-pillow_1

My RSS reader (Google Reader is my choice) has become somewhat of an addiction. I have filled my reader with more subscriptions than I could ever read in one sitting, but what can you do, knowledge is power right?

I think this awesome RSS Icon Pillow would remind me that I have plenty of feeds sitting, waiting on the net for me to read. In other words, a reminder to get my ass out of bed earlier. Anything that can motivate you to wake up in the morning is a good thing. Might just have to pick one up, only $15.

Don’t forget to add Gearfuse to your feed readers for awesome gadgets, design tech news and all-around geeky goodness (nearly) every day!

Forget The Recession: Chanel Segway

chanel_bike_yatzer

Karl Lagerfeld wants you to know that even though he’s old and the head of Chanel, he can still crank out innovative, wallet-busting products that are completely unnecessary. Take this Chanel Segway, for instance. It comes with some ridiculously expensive Chanel bag, logos emblazoned all over the vehicle (including the rims) and has extra big tires for when you’re stuck in the sand in Laos whilst on a photo shoot.

No word on price but if you have to ask…

DIY Apple Netbook

img1827

Throwing OS X on a Hackintosh netbook is nothing new. Just grab an MSI Wind and follow one of the thousands of examples on the Internet. But it just won’t feel the same until people know you’re using an “Apple product.” That’s why some broke ass fanboy who owns an MSI Wind posted instructions on how to design and shape your very own transparent Apple logo. It requires a lot of materials, time and effort but the payoff could be worth it.

Want to see the results of all your efforts? Hit the jump.

How The Pepsi Logo Entered The 21st Century

pepsi_faces

I love Joel. I really do. He’s a good friend and when he’s drunk, I try to steal Boing Boing’s bank account number. But alas, our good friend Joel has uncovered a 6MB PDF file that supposedly was used to convince the Pepsi execs to change the logo.

Surely you’ve seen those new Pepsi cans, right?

pepsi_aestheticsratio

Regardless, it seems the design group Arnell was really into relating Pepsi to Galileo and shit like that. “Figure B: Geometry of Aesthetics: Dynamics.” I’m telling you, you couldn’t make this shit up. Take a look at the PDF file and try to decide of someone actually had the balls to show this to Pepsi Co.

Retro Apple T-Shirt

So have you got $45 sitting around? Good. You’re going to need it before Apple gets its legal team all over these light-up retro Apple t-shirts. They feature the rainbow Apple logo of days past. The best part is that it responds to sound and will flash in sync with a beat should you provide it with one. Sure, $45 may seem a little pricey but so did that Powerbook G4 you bought right before the release of the Macbook Pro. Nice work, champ.

ASUS Hopping On The Android Bandwagon

Out of left field comes an announcement that ASUS is producing a Google Android-equipped cellphone. There’s not many details available on the device, except that it’ll launch during the first half of 2009. Until then, all we can do is wait and kill time by photoshopping Android screenshots onto HTC devices.

Homemade Apple Cufflinks

While not as tasty as Apple pie or a Mac Pro, these cufflinks are sufficient enough to pick up even the dorkiest of women. Designed by Etsy user Beaujangles (what a great semi-racist pun!), these go for $50 a set. While you might find that expensive, consider what a good pair of cufflinks would cost you from Nordstrom or a similar store. Plus, this way you get to help out the DIY community and you get a pair of cufflinks that’s unrivaled in unique quality. Hurry up and get a pair before Jobs sues the living shit out of this dude.
