LEGO Transformers Characters

lego-transformers-characters-optimus-prime

I’ve always wanted to own my own set of Transformers, but who has the room to fit an entire set of massive robots in their home, let alone a tiny apartment like mine.

But hey, I can have something even cooler. My Transformers transform into individual LEGO bricks. All you have to do is bash them around a little and POW, transforming magic. And all in a limited amount of space.

LEGO Glass Elevator: Where the Hell is Wonka?

glass-elevator

I was expecting a little Willy Wonka action with this LEGO brick glass elevator model but, alas, there is no Wonka in sight. I don’t give a rat’s ass if Charlie gets his lifetime supply of chocolate or not. This elevator is definitely lacking some Gene Wilder action.

Kitchen Island Made out of LEGO Bricks

lego-kitchen-island11

Alright, so maybe living in a house made of LEGOs was only a pipe dream, but here’s something much more practical. This customized IKEA kitchen island was made using over 20,000 LEGO bricks.

Designers Philippe Simon and Pillard Rosetti are my new heroes.

LEGO 4 Dead

lego_4_dead_01

Your favorite multiplayer zombie slaying game gets the LEGO treatment. Made using custom LEGO minifig stickers for extra detail, these Left 4 Dead LEGO figurines could only be better if they somehow integrated Star Wars into the mix. I know, it’s a long shot, but come on, what’s wrong with dreaming?

LEGO Star Wars Chess Set

star-wars-lego-chess

Lego builder Brandon Griffith created this awesome Star Wars chess set made completely out of LEGO elements.

Griffith didn’t adhere to the typical chess piece rules. A few of the chess men are actually designed as vignettes from the movie. For example, the king’s bishop is actually a model of Obi Wan Kenobi disabling the Death Star’s tractor beam. Griffith also focused on the board’s durability. So basically, it won’t fall apart when you move it around.

LEGO Yoda

lego-yoda

Spotted at, of all places, the Oregon State Fair, this LEGO Yoda model just about made me shit bricks. Let it be known that my fecal bricks rarely take the form of Star Wars characters. My crap prefers Futurama for some reason. You haven’t lived until you’ve crapped out an accurate model of Professor Farnsworth.

Surprisingly, Yoda only took second place in the fair. WTF?! That’s an outrage. I want to see what in the hell could have possibly been cooler than Yoda, and by god it better include zombies.

LEGO Luigi is Tired of Mario’s Shit

lego-luigi-1

So, I was chilling with Luigi the other day and he’s all like, “Yo dawg, I’m mad sick over Mario poppin’ up in all my shit, aight?” So I was all like, “Well, Luigi, buddy old pal, you’re going to have to do something to overshadow Mario’s incredible reach.” Luigi concurred.

Hence, he commisioned this magnificent LEGO self-portrait. Composed of 80 layers of LEGO bricks and standing 77 cm. tall, Luigi figures that he should at least get his 15 minutes with this ploy.

Donkey Kong In Brick Form

tb-dklegadojpg

Don’t get any ideas with the words ‘brick form’ floating around, you pothead. The bricks I’m talking about are none other than LEGOs. Some guy named Fantastic Rob managed to construct this beautiful homage to the original Donkey Kong video game, complete with flames, barrels and a big ol’ ape sitting atop it all. Ten bucks says it’s easier to beat than the original title, too.

Green LEGOs and Ham

green-eggs-and-ham-660x495

Look, I know the title of this post features a pun shittier than that of an Ayn Rand novel but isn’t this neat? Someone took the time to make a couple of eggs and a delicious-looking green ham from everyone’s favorite building block. Now if only they could make a full blown creation of The Lorax, one of my favorite Dr. Seuss books; now we’re cooking with gas.

Gordon Freeman In Lego-Life 2

lego-life2

Headcrabs, crowbars and G Men, oh my! This is a pretty nifty diorama made entirely out of LEGOs. It features the cast of Valve’s ultra-popular Half-Life 2. I’m really enjoying the blood on the wall and I’m really curious as to who designed that headcrab sucking on some face towards the bottom.
