The limited edition LP 650-4 (and really, what sort of Lambo isn’t “limited” to only the highest tax bracket anyway?) isn’t fucking around. Lamborghini released a bunch of new photos and details about the new Roadster and it’s looking pretty damn drool-worth.

The LP 650-4 will feature a Grigio Telesto exterior, combining gray with bright orange for an interesting color scheme. And performance wise? It’s a monster. A new and improved 6.5-l V12 produces 650hp and 660 Nm of torque, pushing the all-wheel drive death trap to a max 205 mph speed, rushing from 0-62 mph in a brisk 3.4 seconds. If you’ve ever seen Fifth Gear, which is essentially a direct copy of Top Gear on the BBC, then you know it’s all about two things: raw power and fast cars. This video is a direct example of that. It features host Tiff Needell taking a bright green Lamborghini Gallardo on to an ice-covered track and lets her rip with traction control both on and off. The results are, understandably, awesome. Whoever gave Tiff carte blanche to fuck with their Lamborghini on a mountain is pretty impressive.

Look, I could sit here and tell you all about how this guy went and built a shed in his backyard. And then in said shed, he built a V12 Lamborghini replica from scratch. Yeah, I could tell you all about it, or you could read it for yourself at this Englishman’s fine website, v12diablo.co.uk. He’s even posted instructions on building one. Fancy that. Better start saving, though. The base car he used for the project was a BMW 750iL, which is going to set you back a few bucks, pounds, what have you.

If you thought the Ferrari Enzo was fast and exotic, wait till you see what Lamborghini is working on. This new model, supposedly named the ‘Jota’, will feature a monstrous V-12 engine delivering at least 700 horsepower to all four wheels. With one huge exhaust pipe, crazy bored out wheels and curves that would make Queen Latifah jealous. It will also borrow some parts of the body and such from the Lambo Reventon.

I want to believe, but until I see it on Top Gear, the Enzo is still the champ in my mind.

Until I see one on the road, I won’t believe it. Apparently Lamborghini has gone soft with its latest offering, the four door Estoque. This is the premier entourage vehicle or family car for a WASPy outing in the Hamptons. Under the hood you’ll find a turbocharged V8 engine or a V8 with a hybrid module and a turbo diesel is even being considered. This isn’t a man’s Lambo. This is what your rich wife Cindy uses when she wants to look good while picking up scripts from the pharmacy. Low blow! No price or release date announced so let’s not hold our breath.

If you’re reading this site, chances are you can’t afford a Lamborghini. Then again, who can? With gas prices at all time highs and the auto industry crashing, now is the worst time to buy a gas-guzzling Murcielago. That’s why you need to take the low road like a true tool and buy a fancy, schmancy lighter from Tonino. With a bunch of official logos and bullshit features filled with buzzwords, you’ll rest easy knowing it’ll still light your cigar. There’s even a cigar cutter you can use on your cheating, no-good husband.

Like I said, this is a tool for a tool. If you’re going to pay $150-$175 for a lighter and can’t afford the car to match, don’t even bother. Lamborghini lighters don’t get you laid.

In a project that shows an intense love for Lamborghini’s, model making, and more importantly, smoking while making Lamborghini models, a clever model maker has made a Reventon Lambo replica using empty packs of cigarettes.

The eye for detail is pretty extraordinary. The color seems to indicate they either painted it, or they are die hard fans of cowboy killers. Hopefully the model lasts longer than the creator and his tar-filled lungs. (more…)

Maybe you caught them during the keynote, maybe you never watched it to begin with. Either way, these new laptops will make heads turn for sure. They were shown during Bill Gate’s opening keynote speech for CES 2007, but just for a quick second while scrolling through the rest of Vista compatible laptops that will be released alongside with the new OS.
