…though a cheap circular lawnmower wannabe it is not. For $140,000 you can buy your own functioning hoverboard, otherwise known as the Air Board. It travels at speeds up to 15 mph over most surfaces other than water, which totally blows. A “real” hovercraft would so travel over water.

They seem to be marketing the Air Board as a perfect gift, but if your willing to spend $140,000 on a hoverboard for someone else, you should have your head examined. Just get them a Beamer or something.

Just when you thought that the presence of Back To The Future movie apparel couldn’t be any more abundant, in comes perhaps the coolest piece of gear in the entire film (next to the Delorean). Marty McFly’s very own hover board from the second and third installments of the trilogy has made an appearance on eBay. For a starting bid of just $30,000, you can be sure it’ll go for much more with all the fanboys bidding.

As it’s only a wooden movie prop, the board won’t actually hover, of course. After buying it for thirty grand, you’ll probably feel like an idiot.
