The holidaze are over! Team Gearfuse is back in full effect, ready to fill your RSS reader with quality stories and NSFW language.

Happy Holidays From Gearfuse!

We’d personally like to wish you happy holidays from the staff at Gearfuse. Whether it be Christmas, Hanukkah or Festivus, the team would like to wish you a good one. Spend some time with family, eat some delicious food and unwrap some fantastic gifts. Who knows, maybe you’ll score an Arduino this year!

We’ll be taking off today and tomorrow (Xmas day) to spend time with our families. Posting will resume full-time on Monday with limited posting this Friday. Don’t forget about the contest, either!

Woot Off!

Get on over to Woot, young lad. There’s a Woot off going down and you’ll never forgive yourself for missing out on a $150 Roomba. Remember: deals all day, so keep checking in.

Black Friday Stampede

Black Friday is upon us and already the insane deals out there are making people act crazy. A worker at a Walmart in Long Island, NY was trampled to death after hundreds of people smashed through the entrance. A woman also miscarried after getting caught up in the ensuing rage. Says Walmart employee Jimmy Overby:

“He was bum-rushed by 200 people,” said Jimmy Overby, 43, a co-worker. “They took the doors off the hinges. He was trampled and killed in front of me. They took me down too…I literally had to fight people off my back.”

Jesus Christ. This is why I don’t do Black Friday and pony up the extra ten bucks for a video game.

LED Menorah Saves You Some Wax

December is almost upon us, which means you can expect to see a whole bunch of Christmas and Hanukkah decorations like this 5.5” tall, 9” wide LED menorah. Who says you’ve got to be Jewish to enjoy the festival of lights? The LEDs are controlled via a potentiometer, so you’ll have to make sure you light the candles in the correct order or you might get a surprising shock of electricity. Kidding.

Not only is this a kick ass digital design for a menorah, but it will also save you on candles and eliminate any potential fire hazard you once had when using live flames. Only a gentile would pass up this $25 menorah.

New Xbox 360 Bundles For The Holidays

Next month, Microsoft will be totally reshaping the Xbox Live experience. While this is fine and dandy, Microsoft is really looking to get the Xbox 360 into the hands of every teenager on the planet this Black Friday and holiday season. Next up on the checklist is to offer customers free games. Buy the $199 360 Arcade and you’ll get 6 games for free (as you can see in the above image.) Those of you picking up a Pro or Elite version will be treated to LEGO Indiana Jones and Kung Fu Panda. Not too shabby. It’s also worth mentioning that everyone will score a Netflix trial as well with their system. Schweet!

Gearfuse Father’s Day Picks

May has come and gone and June has arrived. Mom got what she wanted and now it’s time for pops to get his loot. We here at Gearfuse decided that each writer should pick 5 items we feel would make excellent Father’s Day gifts. We assembled everything and the end result is this bastard of a list. Hopefully, you’ll find something that’ll put a smile on your father’s face. Let’s go!
