Pumpkin Armchair Is Perfect For Cinderella

Sure, Halloween has come and gone and it was a blast. However, like all good holidays, we tend to drag them out until people tell us we’ve gone too far. Who says we can’t enjoy the spirit of Halloween in November? Fuck ‘em!

Take, for instance, this gorgeous pumpkin chair. Whether fat or thin, this chair is bound to keep you comfy whilst you surf the web for girl-on-girl porn. It comes in black, red, brown and yellow, with yellow greatly resembling Cinderella’s midnight carriage. Comfort and feeling like a kid again never felt so right.

The OS X Finder Pillow Collection

Check out these cool Halloween-themed “Finder” icon pillows created by Etsy user THROWBOY, one of which claims the same name as the old orange Macs. The vampire? That’s “Count Macula.” The ghost, that’s the “Spooker.” The Frankenstein, that’s the “Finderstein.” As for the pumpkin, it’s called the “Mac-O-Lantern.”

Sound familiar? Of course it does. Instructables already gave you the know how to make your own orange Mac. How many different Mac-O-Lanterns are we going to see this season? The Halloween Mac pillows are yours for $39 a pillow. If you’ve got an old Mac collecting dust, why not save yourself some money and turn that into your Mac-O-Lantern this year.

Giant Skull Of Kitchen Crap

Skulls fascinate us. Whether it be skulls made of paper to skulls made of melted cassette tapes, we can never seem to get enough. That’s why we dig Indian artist Subodh Gupta and his art, a lot of which involves recycling old pots and pans from the kitchen. For the Frieze art fair in London, he assembled a load of old kitchen utensils and forged this bodacious skull just in time for Halloween.

Look at that kid in the pic. He’s afraid to touch it. What a pansy. Man, if it’s that effective at in sighting fear in to the hearts of children, this is one decoration I could totally use for my front lawn.

If I Only Had A Brain

Have an extra melon around the house? Excellent. While I would suggest cutting that sucker up and digging in, MAKE and Instructables want you to turn it into a brain. A great little DIY project for Halloween, provided you don’t go around eating melon brains like a zombie. Manners first!

Red Ring O’ Lantern

There are few things scarier than a politician on Halloween, except for the red ring of death. Alan Penner of Goleta, California carved a ton of tech-inspired pumpkins for his front porch. A Ubuntu pumpkin and various emoticon carvings decorate his lawn, with the red ring of death being the most frightening of all.

With all the new games coming out this holiday season for the Xbox 360, the last thing any Xbox owner needs is a red ring of death. So, let’s keep the red rings on the pumpkins and off of the 360s.

Disembodied Hand Prevents Wrist Fatigue

Even on Halloween, when you’re all hopped up on candy, using a mouse can be tiring. For the people who don’t use a vocally controlled mouse, you’re going to need a place to rest your hand. Good thing ThinkGeek is selling this foam wrist-rest that’s shaped like a disembodied hand. It’s perfect for October. $9.99 isn’t a bad price for either a wrist-rest or Halloween decoration. This hand doubles as both!

Miss Video Game Bares It All

Good golly, check this hottie out. She’s all ready for Halloween and she’s not afraid to show what she’s got under the hood. It’s a purple ghost from Pac-Man. Hey, wait a second - there’s no purple ghosts in Pac-Man!

This costume should be a crime. Firstly, you and I both know this girl has no idea what Pac-Man is. She’s too hot for retro gaming. Look at her stomach. You could hand wash clothes on those abs. Maybe she’s played Halo 3, maybe her boyfriend got her into Call Of Duty 4, but there is no way in hell she’s touched a coin-op that predates 1990. I’d love to be proved wrong.

Megaman Costume With Light-up Megabuster

You’re running out of time to come up with an original costume idea for Halloween. Luckily,
Kevin at the Craineum’s blog is making a Megaman costume for his son and he’s letting everyone know how it’s done. He’s written up detailed instructions on making your own, for your own kid.

Don’t got a kid? You’re not squeezing your ass into this thing, but maybe with some tailoring skills and a few adjustments you can make one that’s your size. Check out that megabuster arm cannon, it lights up!

Internet-controled Halloween Lights

Ready to party like it’s 1998 again? Damn straight.

Check out Alek Komarnitsky’s Halloween light expose above. Very nice and elaborate, no? Alek took the awesomeness one step further by rigging the electronics of his light show up with X10, which is a protocol used to control home automation systems and lights. If that didn’t sound good, what if I told you the entire thing is controllable over the Internet? That’s right. Go ahead and smile and then click the link below to fulfill your happiness.

Mac-O-Lanterns

Feeling like a Maverick? Like One-Eyed Jack? The Ace of Spades? Of course you do! Otherwise you wouldn’t be reading Gearfuse. Unleash your inner dork on October 31st and get ready for some Mac-O-Lanterns this Halloween. An Instructables article will walk you through the process of painting an old Mac orange and attaching a mouse to it. As for the scary faces, just grab some images and get a slideshow going.

This is one of my favorite mods. Easy to do, fun for everyone and definitely in the Halloween spirit.
