We can hardly believe it ourselves. It’ll be thirty years since Pac-Man has been released, come 2010. And Namco Bandai isn’t going to let an anniversary like that come and go unheeded. Not when there’s profit to be had! The gaming company is currently in the development phase of a new Pac-Man game to celebrate the game’s tri-decade birthday.

Rumor has it that the new game will be more akin to the “character action” genre, which doesn’t sound very “chasing ghosts through mazes”-alicious to us. Is there a completely new Pac-World ahead of us? Oh! And as promised, check out this killer Pac-Man T-shirt design. When you just can’t cut it alone, who you gonna call? That’s right. Ghostbusters, muthatrucka. Even more Pac-Man goodness after the jump-eroni. (more…)

PNY + GhostBusters = Pinnacle Of Human Achievement

Seriously, what’s better than a 2GB hard drive that’ll store twelve hours of movie goodness on it? How about a 2GB hard drive that also comes pre-loaded with Ghostbusters the movie? PNY is teaming up with Sony Pictures Home Entertainment to release these non-themed Ghostbuster USB drives just in time for the 25th anniversary of the film next year.  The question you might be asking is, “How much does it cost?” The question you should be asking is, “How many should I get?” It’s got Ernie Hudson on it right out of the packaging, what more could you want!?

The Ecto-1 Ghostbusters-mobile is one the props that sticks out in my mind when I think of the movie.

A member from the NASIOC forums (North American Subaru Impreza Owners Club) has posted images of his transformed Suburu Outback, which he has custom honed to resemble the Ecto-1. The creation was made using $200 worth of graphics, while the orange flashing lightbars were $430 each, with the remaining supplies being picked up from Home Depot. (more…)
