Super Mario Hoodies

mario-hoodies

One of the best things about this time of the season is that we get to whip out our stylish hoodies, especially over here in Jersey where the smog blocks out the sun. We’ve seen a fair share of cool hoodies in our day, but none that explore the majesty of Super Mario.

I’m pretty sure it’s a law that every geek needs an outfit for every season consisting entirely of Mario gear. So I really don’t have much of a choice but to whip out the $48 for one of these. There should really be some sort of government-ran financial aid program for Mario gear, especially if they are going to force it on us. Damn socialists.

Noby Noby Boy Hat and Scarf

nobynobyhat1

Your favorite ravenous worm-thing of the moment, Playstation’s version of The Hungry, Hungry Caterpillar, Noby Noby Boy, wasn’t quite our bag when we checked it out a few months. It’s a nice little game if you happen to be drunk and lazing around on the couch, but probably not worth the $5 it costs.

If you’re a bigger fan of the game than we were or just love any type of gaming wearable, this Noby Noby Boy Hat and Scarf could be pretty cool. Let the Noby monster munch on your head for a little bit. You know it’s big enough.

So That’s Where All My Cheese Went

mouse-trap-t-shirt

The whole time, it was right under my nose. This little guy went though my entire surplus of cheese in a matter of days. Thank god we’ve caught him.

The Mouse Trap T-Shirt mashes the fine art of rodent slaughter and computer peripherals. Sounds like an AWESOME Saturday night.

Mugshot T-Shirt Makes the Cops Job Easier

mugshot-shirt

Are you a frequent law offender? Next time you’re caught up to no good, you can give the friendly coppers a helping hand by wearing this Mugshot T-Shirt. This stylish tee will save you some time in the slammer, getting you processed and out on bail in no time.

No more delays means no more excuses. The cops can’t use the mugshot as an excuse to gobble down donuts at your expense anymore. I might have to grab one of these, even if it’s strictly for the LOLz.

Bat and Robin T-Shirt

bat_and_robin

While Bat and Robin might not be quite as “super” as the real dynamic duo, I could totally see a spin-off Saturday morning cartoon series featuring these two menacing flying creatures.

The Bat and Robin shirt takes a literal look at Batman, depicting what the comic could have been if the artists had decided to take a different course. This awesome shirt is still in the voting process on Threadless, but you can expect to see this for sale eventually.

Weirdest. High Five. Ever.

weirdest-high-five-ever

The weirdest high five ever might also be the coolest. AND… it’s available on a hoodie, of course, for $38.

The high five is so weird and so rare that explosions randomly occur in the background when it happens. Hyperbole is the best thing ever.

Sitar Hero T-Shirt: Ravi Shankar and George Harrison Fans Rejoice

sitarhero-zoom

Music fans who prefer the sounds of Ravi Shankar to Metallica might prefer the game Sitar Hero, rather than Rock Band and Guitar Hero, or even Washboard Hero. If this game existed, would it be a hit? Possibly in India. I don’t think the sitar is a major player in American pop culture.

The Love Guru didn’t help too much. Try sitting through that movie and see how big of a sitar fan you are after that. Though I might chose this game over Sousaphone Hero.

Two Girls, One-Up T-Shirt Mashes Mario and Masochism

twogirlsoneup

I posted this over on my Posterous blog, but I couldn’t resist sharing this with my fellow GEARheads as well. The Two Girls, One-Up T-Shirt mashes together the iconic disgustingness of the Two Girls, One Cup video and the awesomeness of the ladies from Super Mario Bros.

You can pre-order the shirt for $17.95. It’s scheduled to ship on September 5, 2009. If you can’t think of an appropriate time to wear it, just pick up a Two Girls, One Cup skateboard. You’ll match perfectly when you head out to grind the curbs.

Hand-Knit Zelda Baby Clothes

outfit

Some lucky mother and baby is about to get the coolest damn baby shower gift of all-time. This hand-knit Legend of Zelda-themed Link baby outfit, complete with baby bottle quiver, is an amazing example of what an expert needle worker can do.

This is exactly why I’m learning how to crochet, despite the incessant bullying. I’m about to kidnap some knitting granny, lock her up in a crate, and force her to make me an adult-sized version. She’ll get some cottage cheese and apple sauce if she’s lucky.
