DIY Tire Swing

Nowadays, tire swings are built horizontally instead of vertically. A rope tied around a tire just isn’t as fun as it used to be for the kids. This brings a whole new area of challenges in crafting a tire swing. User adlabens from Instructables has come up with a great tutorial for making your very own horizontal tire swing. This 18-step procedure is well documented and highly thorough. Everyone in the neighborhood will take notice to your vastly more affordable tire swing after comparing it to their flimsy, pre-purchased overpriced version.

Be sure to check it out if your kids have been bugging you in the past for some sort of enjoyment outside of the house.

Mobile Park Loaded With Security Cameras

Nowadays, people want everything portable. Everything means everything, even a playground full of children. Chris Duff has drawn out this transport design for a children’s playground called, “Chameieon Mobile Park.” Pardon?

Regardless, it’s designed with safety in mind. Equipped with two varieties of wheels, for varying terrain conditions, the “Chameieon” is said to be able to “adapt to different environments.” With cameras surrounding the vehicle, the driver is able to monitor the area. You can rock climb up the side of a van to be rewarded with a slide that goes right into traffic. No thanks. I’ll take my chances with the swing. (more…)

Bondesque: The Backpack Inflatable Pontoon Boat

backpackpontoonboat

Camping can be a real blast with some buddies and cold brews, but tugging along a boat with you can be a real bitch, especially if you don’t have a trailer hitch on your car. Thankfully, the 21st century has given way to the Backpack Inflatable Pontoon Boat. In under 15 minutes, you can assemble a full pontoon boat for you and your posse to ride downstream.

Weighing only 42 pounds, this sturdily built backpack won’t kill you (if they can do it in the Army, you can sure as hell do it for a vacation.) Each pontoon clocks in at a full 8′ long and can hold up to 350 pounds together. At $237, this is fun you and your friends can afford by giving up beer pong for a week.

Fundies: Panties For Two. Hmm, Could Be Fun

Fatties who recently lost a ton of weight like to joke around, saying things like “Wow, my fat jeans are so big that I can fit another person in them.” Ok, that’s great. You used to be fat. It doesn’t seem as impressive that you can fit another person in those jeans when something like Fundies is available for only $4.99.

As the packaging states, here is what is included “4 Legs And 2 Rears (2 Close Friends Not Included)” I would like to add that their are not two enemies or acquaintances included either. Another quote from the statement seems like an apt description. “Half the fun is getting in them, the other half’s up to you.” — Andrew Dobrow

Talent Show Kit Provides More Fuel For Family Snorefest

Family night in my home usually meant a pizza dinner and a board game, but I’m sure other families would have more extravagant festivities, which possibly included nudity and chanting to Satan. While my family was never much for rituals, it would have been nice to have something like the Talent Show Kit.

It’s a karaoke machine, a mic, and an amplifier all built into one mic stand-esque gadget. A removable mic allows the performer some roaming space as they croon to the moon like a werewolf. Or at least that’s what it probably sounds like. Just hand them a fake and cheer when they stop moving. They’ll never know the difference. Get yours for $80. — Andrew Dobrow
