Fallout 3 Exploits Discovered

If you’ve already pirated your own copy of Fallout 3, then you’re surely aware that the Xbox 360 version of Fallout 3 has been leaked. This is giving the pirates out there the one-up on all of the bugs and possible exploits the QA guys missed. Nobody likes a cheater, but when in Rome, do as the Romans do.

A random reader of Swongled.com sent in a video and a thorough walk through of possible exploits that allow you to gain infinite experience and infinite caps (money) in the game. I won’t spoil anything by writing the exploits here because I’m not an asshole. Hit the link to see for yourself.

Hacking: Boston Stops Defcon Talk Over Security Concerns

This past weekend, during the Defcon hacker convention in Las Vegas, several MIT students who were prepared to give a talk regarding the security of Boston’s public transit system were stopped. A judge ruled to ban the presentation after the city realized a gaping vulnerability was about to become exposed. For now, the talks have been stopped, but now everyone has focused attention to Boston. The city must have quite the security flaw going on.

Though the talks were stopped, Defcon attendees received the key data on a CD. It’s only a matter of time before the system is duped and Boston is forced to plug it’s security holes.

Hacking MySpace Profiles Quicker Than Jesus

Valleywag has posted a great little exploit from a “Canadian computer guy” that allows you to access any private MySpace profile. Using a Yahoo! Mobile widget portal and a little URL trickery, you can easily browse through any private profile, photos included. I stopped using MySpace about two years ago, so I signed up with a throwaway Dodgit.com e-mail address to see if I could make it work.

Sure enough, it did. Five minutes later I was checking out some hotties from my hometown and scoping out Heidi Montag’s private photo collection, which was nothing special. If you need some new pics to whack off to, give this tutorial a read. After the jump, more proof and linkage.
