Whether you’re a fan of Lara Croft or just get a boner for anything Final Fantasy related, you’ll now be pleased to know that Eidos has accepted a bid of about $118 million from Square-Enix. This could very well mean that in the not-too-distant future, Square characters could be making their way to Eidos titles and vice versa. Actually, fat chance, but I’m sure the combined resources of two top-notch gaming studios will lead to some creative titles in the next five years.

Here is a really odd story. Eidos is producing a Lara Croft action figure for little boys to molest. Now, when you think of someone that could model for the doll, you’d think along the lines of say, oh I dunno, Angelina Jolie or someone like that. The tall looks more like Woody Harrelson then anyone else. Maybe even Madusa. But perfect Lara Croft?
And call me crazy, but isn’t odd that the majority of the pictures taken are of her lower torso? Did they hire a gynecologist to do the photography? (more…)
