Stupid Earring Headphones

Japanese company Thanko just came out with a new set of headphones that clip to the bottom of wearers’ earlobes like earrings. Thanko’s headphones seem to be the exact opposite of noise cancelling and, frankly, they look pretty darn stupid. If they were wireless, these things really would lbe like earrings, but as is, they just look like standard headphones that fit funny.

I guess Thanko is hoping that women have been looking for a new style of headphones. I can’t imagine that there are girls who think this would look good or that there are people who want to sacrifice sound quality to look like a total d-bag. On the other hand, Thanko did make a pair of these that are decorated with a cute cartoon panda. People love cute animals, so maybe these stupid headphones will manage to be a hit.

For the fashionista who just doesn’t have time to get jammed full of cock, here’s a pair of Blackberry earrings for you. Classier than a pair of zippers, these will symbolize your commitment to your device and undying love for it. The next time you’re popping a squat on the toilet with these on and your Blackberry device in your hand, I want you to remember that you’re a total RIM job.

Zing!

Are you a good parent? Ask yourself that question right now. If you didn’t take your child to Piercing Pagoda by the age of 6, I recommend seriously considering seeking professional help. I mean, think of how cool earrings are. All the rad people, like Rod Stewart, Amy Winehouse and Pete Doherty, wear them!

If you’re in the market for a new pair, may we suggest these Cookie Monster studs? At $6.50 a pair, you can show off your love of Cookie Monster like Caroline McCarthy does thrice daily on her blog. Great price, great children’s show. What more could you ask for in a pair of earrings? Don’t say diamonds. Please don’t.

Recycled CD/DVD Jewelry

Some of you may recall a company called AOL that used to give out CDs by the millions. I mean you couldn’t even piss in a Six Flags bathroom without seeing free AOL CDs. Going ice skating? Have an AOL CD. Grabbing a burger from McDonalds? Have an AOL CD. Jerking off? Hey, don’t forget the AOL CD!

So everyone took one and eventually threw it out. What a waste! Instead of chucking your unwanted CDs, consider reusing them for other purposes like Neko Design has. The Mexico-based company has created beautiful pieces of jewelry that really are works of art. The catch? Each piece is made from an old CD or DVD. Save the world, look good and have an AOL CD.

Some woman let their heads get too big from all the compliments we shower over them constantly. Here is a set or earrings that will remind them exactly where their head starts and ends, in plain and simple English HTML.

The HTML HEAD earrings are made out of sterling silver, so none of that fake silver green glow that some people get when the combo of silver and human skin are mixed with moisture. — Andrew Dobrow

iPod Earbud earrings defeat the purpose

The iArtifact project is a design concept that is attempting to take on the extent of Apple fandom with a twist of the extreme. The iPod earbud earrings are kinda cool looking, but whats the point? Why not just buy your own pair of earbuds for a buck, cut them, and paint them silver?

Also included in the iArtifcat project is desktop wallpaper and a bracelet. Though, the earbuds are the definite stand out piece. — Andrew Dobrow

Keyboard Key Earrings guide you through skull

Recycled computer parts are always fun, especially when made into wearable do-dads like these Keyboard Key Earrings. These recycled “Home” and “End” keys, used from real recycled keys, are secured under orange glass beads attached to silver wire hoops. Sadly, the trash dump must of been low on keyboards since the earrings are already labeled as sold out on the product page, but who knows, there might be more to come. Next, we’d like to see some keyboard stud style earrings. Warning: Do not press keys while in ears. — Andrew Dobrow
