Even The Poorest Of Bums Can Afford This Computer

Think that $130 NPX-9000 Firefox tablet or the OLPC $75 touch screen laptop are as cheap as it gets? Think again. The brains at MIT are sure of themselves that they can create a computer for a mere $12.  With a price tag like that, it’d only take a few hours of panhandling outside of a McDonalds to accumulate the money for your brand new PC.  No details on the rig’s component parts except for it starting out as an old Apple II. How or when it’ll become a twelve dollar functioning computer is beyond me.

The Six Million Dollar Dog

Hope is a dog born without front legs. A dog barely mobile. Gentlemen, we can rebuild her. We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world’s first bionic puppy. Hope will be that puppy. Better than she was before. Better, stronger, faster.

This two-legged Maltese puppy gets around by using a specially-designed device using wheels from a model airplane. From birth, she was able to get around hardwood floors with ease by pushing off her back legs. However, doctors said that her natural mode of moving eventually would damage her bones and spine. This led them to creating The Six Million Dollar Dog.

Cheapest Money Clip Sold For Top Dollar

Money clips can be made out of anything. Paper clips, rubber bands, you name it and a money clip is made of it.  Designer Scott Amron is trying to dupe people into buying either a $12 pre-made money clip or a $9 DIY kit to make your own. The design is simple: a dollar bill with one end taped with a magnet and the other end taped with a piece of metal.

It folds around your wad of bills as if it is just another dollar among them and it is! This simple and efficient design for a money clip makes me wonder if it would be more rewarding to forgo Amron’s offer of a DIY kit in favor of an attempt to make your own similar concept for a slimmer impact on your budget.

Margiela Currency Wallet: The Poor Need Not Apply

Although it’s no Pita Wallet, the Currency Wallet from Margiela will certainly attract a classier woman when you whip it out of your back pocket.

Available in either the US Dollar or the Euro, each wallet is about $390 and demands an owner with plenty of cash to load it up with. At least you’ll look wealthy when you whip out the Euro-version to pick up that silly Mustache Comb necklace for your girlfriend.
